Meet others. Find leads for jobs.

Dear Friends,

The Tel Aviv branch of j2jnetwork is having its next meeting on Thursday, December 5th, (complete details follow). For more information about j2j, please see www.j2jnetwork.com or contact Graham Bowman at graham_bowman@dalecarnegie.com or Yochi Eisner at yochi@consultant.com

Message from the facilitators: Our November meeting was a great success, with over 25 participants.  We've heard about several possible leads established.  Our December meeting promises to be even more dynamic!

The meeting will follow the standard j2jnetwork format:
9:30AM Introduction and 60 second elevator pitch
10:00AM Lead exchange and success report
 10:05AM Member Presentation I (5 minutes, 2 minute QA)
10:07AM Member Presentation II (5 minutes, 2 minute QA)
10:15AM Closing 30 second elevator pitch
10:45AM Post meeting schmoozing (30 Minutes)

What goes on at a Morning Meeting? Basically, you tell the room who you are, what you do, and what kind of leads you are looking for. Usually, someone in the room can give you business or you can pass on business to them. The object is to view the people in the room as potential leads for contacts. Networking is the most powerful marketing tool you can use to increase sales for your company or increase contributions and membership to your non-profit.

The J2J Network is a Jewish non-profit Trade organization (501c6a),
dedicated to professional business networking and education. Started in the Spring of 2000, the J2J Network was formed with the mission to facilitate business between our members and the Jewish community at large. We also foster awareness about Jewish and world causes and opportunities, and foster discussion among the thousands of Jewish professionals in New York City. (We look forward to expanding outside of NYC in the coming years.)
Professionals range from individuals, businesses and companies to
non-profit organizations and philanthropists. Through our many networking events and our website at www.j2jnetwork.com  we help our members increase sales, contributions, membership, meet potential partners, look for jobs, and recruit new employees.

Sponsorship opportunities are available (and necessary in order to keep this running). Please contact Raphi Salem if you would like to host or sponsor some of our upcoming events or organization as a whole. The J2J Network hosts 6 evening panel and speaker events, 50 morning networking meetings, 4 CEO kosher roundtable dinners and 4 job fairs annually. We also are starting a J2J Angel/Mentor Network. Members will be able to submit business plans for review and investors will get the opportunity to participate financially in all stages of a company's development. The J2J Network will also be starting an internship program this summer. If you or a student that you know would like to intern at a local company, please send in your resume to resumes@j2jnetwork.com  If your company would like to sponsor an intern, please let us know. Minglers and Schmoozefests are held monthly. Trips to Israel are scheduled 4 times per year. Next trip to Israel will be in the Fall around Sukkot. Birthright Trips will begin next winter. To find out more about us, please visit our website at www.j2jnetwork.com
