CORRECTION : In our last Newsletter , Mrs. Esther Shull was congratulated on the occasion of the recent Marriage of her Grand-daughter , Tracey . However , it actually was her Grand-daughter Tali that was married at that time , and , as can be seen below , Tracey was married about ten days ago . The Editor sincerely apologizes for getting his lines crossed .

H.O.D. CENTENARY CELEBRATION /
25 th. ANNIVERSARY DINNER :
As most Worthy Brethren and Brethren are aware , this year is the Centenary Year of the Hebrew Order of David International , and also the 25 th. Anniversary of the establishment of the Hebrew Order of David International , in Israel .
It has been decided that a Celebration Dinner , and Commemoration Evening , in honour of these two events , will be held on SATURDAY NIGHT , 09 th. OCTOBER , 2004 , at the PROTEA VILLAGE in EVEN YEHUDA .

HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK ALONE .

“ Lets say it’s 6,15 p.m. and you’re driving home ( alone of course ) after an unusually hard day on the job . You’re really tired , upset and frustrated . Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that rapidly radiates out into your arm and up into you jaw .
You are only about five miles ( 8 Km. ) from the hospital nearest your home , but unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far .
WHAT CAN YOU DO ?
You’ve been trained in CPR , but the guy that taught the course neglected to describe how to perform it on yourself . Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack , this article is certainly in order . Without professional help , the person , whose heart stops beating properly , and begins to feel faint , has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness .
FORTUNATELY , these victims can help themselves -- by COUGHING repeatedly and very vigorously .
A deep breath should be taken before each cough . The cough must be deep and prolonged , as when producing sputum ( phlegm ) from deep inside the chest . A cough must be repeated about every 2 ( two ) seconds without let up until professional help arrives , or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again . The deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs while the coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep blood circulating . The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm .
In this way , heart attack victims can get to a hospital -- COUGHING , BUT ALIVE !!!
